Romans 10:13-15 “For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!””
We are all called to live life on a mission to take the Good News of Jesus to the people around us. For some that means living out that mission at home. For others, that means leaving friends and family, leaving the familiar, and moving to another country to share the Good News.
As a teenager, I was called to missions at a youth winter camp. In the post-camp excitement this call was discarded and forgotten, but several years and two missions trips later it is coming to fruition.
In 2013, I spent three months serving in Thessaloniki, Greece as a study abroad student with Engage–a program designed to give college students the opportunity to experience missions.
In 2014, I had the opportunity to spend 12 days on a missions trip to The Kingdom of Swaziland, South Africa with a team of twelve people from my church.
On January 30th, 2018 I began the latest adventure on my Journey in Missions as I arrived here in Budapest, Hungary where I will be serving as a Missionary Associate with the Assemblies of God World Missions for the next two years. I have the privilege of serving in office administration, young adults leadership, and in the Ministry of Chairs.
